Jay Malaspino

Owner / Founder / Designer

A Cape Cod native Jay has worked in the construction industry his entire 40+ year career. For the past decade he has centered his business in the south coast area specializing in both the design and construction of fine custom homes.

The first 15 years of his career he worked in the field as a framer and finish carpenter before switching to construction management of both residential and commercial projects. By customer request his design load increased enough so he devoted most of the next 25 years to residential architectural design and structural design.

Since 2019 when he founded Sea Glass Homes by combining the two disciplines into one company – Sea Glass Homes, design / build. He specializes in using a 3D CAD modeling program to design and draft residential homes.

Jay first received his Massachusetts Unlimited Construction Supervisors License in 1985.
